First and foremost, unlike other freelance sites, we take no commission on any project - ever!
Joining GeekBidder will help you realize your true Freelance potential unlike any other site. Because we take no commission, you are in complete control of how you transfer funds. If you have an established relationship with a Buyer, you may both agree to send a check, costing only as much as the postal system designates. Or, if you are interacting with a Buyer for the first time, you may choose to transfer money via escrow. Again, the only commission you pay is to the escrow company itself. We take nothing!

Technical Profile and Advanced Messaging System
Publish your technical skills and contact those who need your services
As a Geek, you will you be in constant search for the next big Project. However, Buyers will also be in search of people like you. Place the spotlight on yourself with your own GeekBidder Technical Profile. This allows you to showcase your areas of expertise, your past work, and even a little personal information. Should someone be interested in your services, they can contact you via the GeekBidder Messaging System, which resembles a professional webmail client.
GeekBidder Matching System
Find EXACTLY what you're looking for with ease
Perhaps the most important feature of a service such as this is the ability for Geeks and Projects to be found easily. Fortunately, the GeekBidder Matching System makes this a breeze. This tool enables all GeekBidder members to find what they’re looking for with extreme precision. In short, you can limit search results to those that match any combination of project sections, technical skills or certifications that a Geek possesses, a Project requires, or a Buyer desires.
Advanced Bidding Options
Bid with confidence -- we give you the tools to place a complete and complex bid
Once you’ve found these extremely targeted Projects, you then have the option of throwing your hat in the freelance ring by placing Bids. To keep everything flexible, this can be done several ways. First of all, your Bid may be public or private. A public bid will display any and all information contained in your bid, while a private bid is, well…private. Only the Buyer who posted the project will be able to see your Bid information. Your bid may also be classified as a Pre-Bid or a Final Bid. A Pre-Bid is a certified Bid; however, it may be edited later, unlike a Final Bid. To make your case even more convincing, you may then attach files to your bids. These can be whatever you like, though, please, keep it Project related!
Constant Improvements
Even we don't know what we'll think of next...
Finally, GeekBidder is an unfinished work of art, in the sense that it will never be complete. We’re constantly brainstorming new ideas, many of which are integrated into this service. There are some big things in the works and we’d like nothing more than for you to be a part of them. So, when you’re ready, become a GeekBidder!
